Kayleigh comes from a background in acting and musical theatre, but after a healthy dose of rejection and a slow descent into bitterness, she did the logical thing and became a comedian.

Now two-ish years into her comedy career (she’s not counting the breakdowns), Kayleigh has been nominated for multiple awards and is currently touring her critically-acclaimed, award-nominated solo show ‘I Fed My Dad to a Pelican’, which was described by News.com.au as "The best comedy show I've ever seen" and as "A modern day hero for millennial women" by The Reviews Hub.

She has performed at top venues, including The Comedy Store in London, shared stages with comedy legends like Nick Helm, Harriet Kemsley, Josh Pugh, and Eleanor Tiernan, and has sold out shows at Camden Fringe, Leicester Comedy Festival, and Brighton Fringe. Thanks to becoming a recipient of the Keep it Fringe Fund , she's thrilled to be taking her show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year.

In the last two years, Kayleigh has had three script commissions from Legoland for children’s comedy scripts which include the live puppet shows ‘The Spell that went Wrong’ and a modern retelling of ‘Rapunzel'.

As well as developing her comedy show, Kayleigh regularly writes and shares musical comedy and sketches, which have received over a million views online and have been shared on BBC Upload.

With writing comedy at the heart of Kayleigh’s passion for comedy, she has recently completed an MA in Comedy Scriptwriting at Falmouth University, where she was awarded a distinction. Wow, when does she sleep?

Last year Kayleigh was cast as Sophie in the short comedy film ‘Documenting Sophie’ with Moo Films, which is due to be released this year.

Kayleigh is passionate about pursuing a career in comedy, book her for your gigs, projects, or interpretive dance competitions (she's not picky).

"For anyone with a heart and a mind, this true story, delivered by a talented storyteller, is one you won’t want to miss."
The Reviews Hub

"Yes, it was absolutely a comedy show, but it was also so much more. I do not doubt that this was the best show I saw at Leicester Comedy Festival this year and I'm excited to see Kayleigh Jones again. Pure Brilliance"
Late Stage Comedy

“After an hour of wall-to-wall breath-ceasing lols I can honestly say this was the best comedy show I have ever seen and that includes Netflix’s stand-up collection.”
News.com.au

"A seamless blend of storytelling, musical comedy, and authentic humour...a commanding performance"
The Comedy Nerd

"After selling out at the Camden Fringe Festival earlier this year, this storytelling hour infused with original songs is heading to the Women in Comedy Festival with a tale of identity, unconventional mothers, and how joining cults won't help you find yourself."
