Kayleigh Jones

Kayleigh comes from an acting and musical theatre background, and after much unsuccess turned bitter, which made her funny, and now here she is in the comedy industry.

With just over 2 years in the comedy industry, Kayleigh has been nominated for multiple awards and is currently debuting her award-nominated comedy show ‘I Fed My Dad to a Pelican’. She performs regularly on the comedy circuit and has shared the stage with acts such as Nick Helm, Diane Spencer, Josh Pugh, and Eleanor Tiernan, and has had the pleasure of performing at The Comedy Store, London.

Kayleigh has performed her show to a sold out audience at the Camden Fringe, and has also taken it to the Women in Comedy Festival, Leicester Comedy Festival, A Pinch of Vault, and will be taking it to Brighton Fringe in May.

​

In the last year, Kayleigh has had three script commissions from Legoland for children’s comedy scripts which include the live action puppet shows ‘The Spell that went Wrong’ and a modern retelling of ‘Rapunzel'. She now works as a puppeteer and is heavily involved in the creation of the puppet shows at Legoland.

As well as developing her comedy show, Kayleigh regularly writes and shares musical comedy and sketches, which have received over a million views online and have been shared on BBC Upload.

With writing comedy at the heart of Kayleigh’s passion for comedy, she is currently taking an MA in Comedy Writing at Falmouth University. Wow, when does she sleep?

Last year Kayleigh was cast as Sophie in the short comedy film ‘Documenting Sophie’ with Moo Films, which is due to be released this year.
