Kayleigh Jones is a working-class writer and performer whose debut show has quickly earned industry recognition. With a background in acting and musical theatre, she first broke into stand-up in 2022 as a finalist in the Musical Comedy Awards, quickly establishing herself on the circuit with appearances at The Comedy Store, The Glee Club, and The Bloomsbury Theatre.

In 2024, she completed an MA in Comedy Writing (Distinction), further cementing her passion for telling bold, authentic stories and championing underrepresented voices. Her debut hour, supported by the Keep It Fringe Fund, has toured to seven fringe festivals, earning her a Best Debut Show nomination at Leicester Comedy Festival, and premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe with Gilded Balloon, where it was nominated for Best Newcomer for the ISH Edinburgh Comedy Awards and won the Spirit of the Fringe Award.

Beyond the stage, Kayleigh has written scripts for Legoland’s live children’s shows, with two further scripts shortlisted for the BBC Writersroom. Her comedy songs have been featured on BBC Radio Oxford, The Trawl Podcast, and Songs in the Key of Laugh.

With a talent for finding humour in darkness and transforming life’s absurdities into full-hearted storytelling, Kayleigh’s debut marks her out as an exciting new voice in British comedy.

"For anyone with a heart and a mind, this true story, delivered by a talented storyteller, is one you won’t want to miss."
The Reviews Hub

"Yes, it was absolutely a comedy show, but it was also so much more. I do not doubt that this was the best show I saw at Leicester Comedy Festival this year and I'm excited to see Kayleigh Jones again. Pure Brilliance"
Late Stage Comedy

“After an hour of wall-to-wall breath-ceasing lols I can honestly say this was the best comedy show I have ever seen and that includes Netflix’s stand-up collection.”
News.com.au

"A seamless blend of storytelling, musical comedy, and authentic humour...a commanding performance"
The Comedy Nerd

"After selling out at the Camden Fringe Festival earlier this year, this storytelling hour infused with original songs is heading to the Women in Comedy Festival with a tale of identity, unconventional mothers, and how joining cults won't help you find yourself."
